Step-Down Converters for a 3.3V and 1.5V supply allows

boot with USB cable connected to USB 3.0 900mA PC port.

Additional power supply will be required for some daughterboards.

Supply Voltage 5V

RX inputs adopted for using an external RF front end, or to inject raw signals into SDR.

A wideband transformer allows operation from 1 to 250 MHz on each RX input channel.

It is possible to use subsampling methods to receive higher frequencies.

In this case, the user must ensure the signal is filtered to avoid aliasing of undesired signals.

TX outputs adopted for using an external RF front end,

or experiment with the raw signals provided by itself.

A wideband transformer allows operation from 1 to 250 MHz on each TX channel.

The wide bandwidth of the BasicTx board allows the device to operate in a subsampling mode

when the desired output frequency is beyond the sampling clock rate of the DACs.

Each TX output can be operated independently, or combined into a single I/Q pair.

Note that appropriate filtering should be utilized in subsampling modes.
